16 Days of Activism

I don’t believe in prejudice or violence of any kind and as a woman I feel that we need to give a voice to those women around the World that are forced to live a life of inequality and/or endure violence.  16 Days of Activism is an International campaign to bring attention to violence against women around the World, it begins on November 25, International Day Against Violence Against Women Day and ends on  December 10, International Human Rights Day.

We receive less pay than men for the same jobs, endure abuse at the hands of men, and in many places we cannot walk the street without a man, own property or establish credit without a man and are often considered property.

We are Mothers, Sisters, Aunties, Nurturers, The backbone of our families and we deserve to be respected.

Below are interesting articles highlighting the struggles women around the World are facing.
